This might sound funny but I think the focus fell on your chest in both photos... did you/him do any smoothing of your face? The chain link fence is not helping the photo, nor the shade from the tree falling on your face, which should be the brightest part in the picture...

The composition in the first photo strikes me as awkward. Cutting off the ankles in a portrait just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe it's just me.

The second photo looks a little overexposed.

He needs to move you farther away from the background but then it's hard to get a nice bokeh with an iPhone. Oh, cropping on the first one could be better.

The only thing that can be CC's are focus composition and to a lesser extent exposure. It's all automatic on the iphone. You can select the focus points with your finger though and this also sets the metering point.

Don't think it's possible because I think it's only done if you directly up load the photos from your phone. I put them on the computer, then photobucket, but I'll remove them just incase.
