Humming Bird

The rain had finally started to let up last week and a got a shot of a humming bird outside at the feeder. Tough little guys to get in focus, they are way too fast!

Great shot! I have never managed to get a humming bird picture, they move to fats for me :x

Thanks! I believe this one was 1/500 at f8 I was snapping too fast to track the speeds well.

I ended up setting the focus at a certain point on the feeder and then trying to snap them when they came up to it. Much easier than following the birds, which is what I tried to do at first. I kept changing the apeture and speed to see if that helped. Still learning.
