Hungry?

The color looks a bit dull, and maybe a smidge underexposed,

But dammit, now I'm hungry none the less.

Really? On my laptop and my pc the color is bright and vibrant and the cores are near blowing out...hmm, I really need to invest in a calibration tool the on board calibration doesn't seem to work well I guess.

You might want to wait until someone with a calibrated monitor chimes in, since I don't fall under that category.

Don't take my word for it.

Ever.

On any subject.

Mine is calibrated and the colors are pretty dead.

I checked and it turns out the image is saved in prophoto RGB colorspace, which rarely works out well for browsers as they don't tend to respect color profiles. Save it as sRGB before presenting and you'll be in good shape.

thanks, yes!

Oh, and they are delicious too. Nothing like Strawberries from Watsonville California. ;)

Don't know if the image got fixed but it looks pretty good on my home computer.

Don't know nothing about strawberries from Watsonville as that is a bit far for me but I've been eating a lot of "Mara des bois," the Rolls Royce of strawberries here in France, which I was getting from a local farmer. Unfortunately, the season is almost over :(

Enjoy yours!

ahh, I use Firefox, let me check it on IE. (looks the same, just checked)

Watsonville is the heartland of American strawberries, It's like a billion $ crop. French strawberries? Yum!

I think I'm the only one who does not like strawberries!

Yum strawberries!!! They look good to me....;)

I am a fruit fanatic, but strawberries aren't really doing it for me. Watermelons, mangoes, naval oranges, white peaches, lychees, asian pears, guavas, etc... I should just say I am not a berry type of person.

But strawberries and Cream go so well together

OP: Have to agree with the comments that the picture looks a little underexposed and muted. The composition is good (if you could really refer to it as composition), although I think it would make for a better photo if the green tops were left on.

Maybe you haven't had real ones :)

My dad raised strawberries commercially for several years, so I got spoiled. If it's recognizable as a strawberry then it has to be fresh off the vine. Otherwise it has to be something (like strawberry jello) that retains only the strawberry flavor.
