Hunua Falls - Auckland, NZ

This was actually taken on the way back from the main falls at hunua. Me and my mate found a ittle spot on the side of the road, had a look around and found this cool little water feature in the hunua gorge.

Great depth of field through the small aperture, producing the necessary long shutter opening for the soft, rushing water, and giving great detail from foreground to background ... I am particularly taken in by the detail of the texture of the wet rock in the front with its amount of algae!

wow very nice. Waterfalls and long exposure always go hand in hand together, dont they.
I hope i can take shots like that when im visiting NZ next year. Would be great.
