I bought some film....

..and it smells funky. It's a kind I've never used before...Kokak Professional Ultra Color 400speed. It's a C-41 film. Just wondering if this stuff normally stinks, or if it's possible I got a bad batch?

I just bought some this weekend, and mine doesnt smell funny at all. I even took a roll out of the container, and didnt get any funky whiffs.

Weird. Guess I'll just keep the package, and if this roll turns out funky, I'll return the rest of the film in the package. I just didn't know if it was normal for certain kinds of film to be a little stinky!

I love the smell of new film. I know, I'm a freak All film smells, some more than others. TMax and Velvia50 are the top stinkers I think.
