What's new

I don't like this photo: Do you?

techincally, yes. otherwise it's not doing much for me.

It's kind of a photo in search of a subject.
The bridge structure, which I assume is the intended subject, is lost in the background.
As such, the main visual component is an empty road.
Stick something interesting in the lower right quadrant and you might have an interesting composition.
Wide angle often needs something to anchor the foreground and it's absent here.

I agree with those guys. I'm surprised Bender didn't suggest blackjack and hookers, but that's OK. On a technical level, IQ is spot on, white balance is good, there's a good mood, blah blah blah, but yeah. Needs a Porsche or something.

Thanks guys. Your thoughts echo mine. It's nice technically, but not visually entrancing or intriguing.

Mystic River?

Too quiet. Needs Godzilla stomping around or fill up that sky with an incoming bolide...

My first thoughts were -"It has a fairly strong blue color cast, and the light quality is poor."

Mine too. The sky was dull, and the backlighting (even with GND's and reverse GND's) ruined the bridge detail. The blue cast was intentional, as it was a cool colored evening.

The sky was emptier than my wallet... Sadly...

The start of the blue hour. Surely you have heard of it. It's "a thing now". The sun has already gone down.

There is even a web site that offers an on-line blue hour calculator! MORNING AND EVENING TIMES CALCULATED FOR YOU!

Technically it wasn't quite there yet, but wishful thinking and some artistic freedom with the temperature slider fools all but me
