I finally got a bald eagle

I turned just in time to see him coming. The Juvenal showed up 45 min before.

I am almost positive you have a Golden Eagle in pic 4. This looks very different from a juvenile bald eagle to my eyes & I have seen my fair share in the field.

it is this years juvenile bald eagle a golden even juvenile would have a golden nape where as this one is all brown and it was taken in the same tree as the adult a golden would not be in a tree with an adult bald eagle without conflict

Nice set and congratulations on the first! When I was in Vancouver this year I saw my first Bald Eagle in the wild at Stanley Park, unfortunately it was a dot in the sky, but If I zoned into my camera shot I could see it was one.
