This is SOOC, and super sharp on my IPad! Really thrilled with it, and didn't' even crop it yet.
Still open to thoughts on it, and what would I do to it if I had any PP products?

It is sharp but a bit low contrast and there is way too much space.

Crop this so that the heron is flying into the the space and the shadow is at the other third reinforcing it.

What Lew said. Also, these feel a bit underexposed, although it might just be the low contrast.

ETA: But these are very nice otherwise. An excellent start, I would say. Certainly post-worthy! You can make better pictures than these, but these are not bad pictures by any means.

Yes, I would crop also, but I was so,happy with my clarity and 'ah- ha' moment, I posted to show SOOC.
Ok, underexposed, I will work on.

Congrats, you got the moment and a good sharp bird in flight.

As noted a crop helps -- I cropped the other one, not so tight as Lew.



Also as noted they are very flat (low contrast) and very very blue. I added contrast and adjusted the color. I also did a little local lightening and darkening of select areas.

You NAILED the focus on the heron in the first shot, which is the one I prefer over the second shot, even though the second shot has a full reflection.
