Well Bitter, as soon as I saw your image I said Gramma's camera. I can still see her looking down into the viewfinder & she has been gone for about 30 years.

Knowing you, you'll master it and create some beautiful photos.

Hm...looks like you might have a tilting lens...I'm just not sure if it would shift too?

Have fun! :D

Time will tell. Lots of it. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Not tilty, no shifty.

This is pretty much the 1935 equivalent to a point and shoot.

The manual is interesting, in that it tells the user about the sunny 16 rule, and to adjust from there. Also tells you to watch your backgrounds, that they can ruin a picture.

"Do not let the sun shine directly on the lens when taking a picture. If photographing towards the source of light, hold your hand or hat above the lens as a shade, but sufficiently high to prevent its being included in the picture.
Select your background carefully. A good subject can be spoiled by such backgrounds as telephone poles, clapboard houses, etc. Keep your backgrounds simple. A background of foliage is usually unobtrusive and pleasing. "
