Had to drive an hour each way to pick it up from the UPS facility, but Its FINALLY here! Battery is on the charger. The "terrible" hand grip I read so many complaints about, fits like a glove! Taking suggestions on what will be its first photos.

That check list sounds doable. Though, putting on make up for a selfie is a lot of work after the week I've had!

However! Now that our company is gone, I get to turn the guest room into a photo studio and leave my lights and backdrops up full time! Prepare yourself for a influx of Jazzie selfies.

Ohhh! Scotland is on my bucket list- though I'm not sure I would survive the plane ride! Traveling is on my top 10 list of dislikes. That list also includes Soda, cats, and decaf coffee. ;-)

Darn it- I spent so much on the camera, I'm too broke to buy a beret. Guess I should have bought a real slr so I could have afforded vintage clothing to match! I guess I'm only a wanna be hipster after all.

Make damned sure the film advance lever is working properly! Oh, wait, I see that good suggestion has already been posted. Well, then, open the back and make sure the pressure plate is clean and free of scratches, or even worse--BUMPS that stick up, even a tiny bit!

:headscratch: I just can't find the open lever. Can you link me to a youtube tutorial for this? Surely the big book with weird string of words all over the pages couldn't help me figure it out.

Wow, ok... well first hit the local coffee shop/perkins/village inn at two am and wait till the crowd of wobs (wear only black) starts lecturing each other on social justice and inequality, then break in with how your crazed gun toting redneck ex took your beret in a drunken rage.

Bam.. free beret. Umm.. just make sure you wash it first.

Well, the nearest location for that is an hour away, surly you can't expect me to bike that far in the rain. But I have a few newsboy caps that belonged to my late father, would those substitute well enough?

Dude,dude,dude--that is the MALE behavior pattern!!!! She can't grow a full beard....ergo, she's not a male...instead she is supposed to take it to tattoo shops in the big city, school PTA meetings, and places where low-light poetry readings are held by cowboy poets.
