It changes, as Scatterbrained says, and it goes in remission sometimes, but once you're bitten, it's there forever. I had one camera and one lens for nearly 20 years. And then I tried a rangefinder. Then a TLR. Next thing I know, it's 3 years later and suddenly I find myself needing storage space...

The 5200 is fun to throw out, but I do believe that the 1200 is actually an EF lens. I have some big, expensive glass, but if came home with the 1200 I know my GASSY days would be over. It would be much like keeping a secret. The only way two people can keep a secret is if one of them is DEAD! Dead would definitely put a crimp in a GAS problem.

Scatterbrained said it. It evolves. Now, for me, it's on film... and knowledge. I need to learn everything I possibly can, but I have the rest of my life to do that. but maybe I need flashes too. Nah, strobes with boxes. GAAH NOO

Yep. I've got GAS for gear for cameras, guitars, and gear for guitars and mandolins. Through in MAS for mandolins and GAS for guitars and I am hopeless. Plus I drive a JEEP Wrangler, which stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket". My poor Wife is a saint to put up with me. lol
