I need help picking a digital Camera

I was in this same position a while back. I have always been a huge minolta fan and always told myself that I would get the minolta whenever it came out with a digital SLR. .

YAY, someone who used to be in my boat!
The only camera I have owned worthwhile even talking about is my Minolta. It is hard to compare when you have only used 1 thing.
b/c of all the replies in regards to the D70, ESP battery life, I think I iwll seriously look into that.....battery life is a big one for me. The Minolta I have is EXELLENT! I so can not complain. It has been so wonderful to me and that was reason #1 why I thought to stick withit. It seems not too many people suggestI go with it tho.....
No worries about the blabber! It helps me work thru my thoughts! And as you can tell, I am a talker myself.
