So this was totally impromptu during a shoot with my friends and i just thought it was a cute photo. The only thing is, it feels way off balance to me. Could someone give me advice on a decent crop and or PP?? Thanks in advance??

Well, other than cropping down to her head and belly, you really can't crop any without losing either part of the wheelbarrow or the feet.
It needs to be shot from a little bit higher with more room left in the frame and instead of her legs jutting straight out in an awkward and stiff pose, they probably should be bent as if she really were lounging there.

Agreed. Her he'd says relaxing but her legs say different.

Shot from a higher vantage, and about 45 degrees camera left, this could have been nice.

Needs a shallower DOF to to kill that ugly, busy background.

As is.. it is a binner!

There's some very nice geometry in here. Her legs and face pretty explicitly echo the handles and wheel of the barrow, which is graphically pretty nice. The trouble is that this makes the wheel just as important as her face, if not moreso. Her belly pretty much vanishes from the picture entirely with all this other stuff in place.

I don't see any way to fix it, even with a reshoot. You have several suggestions already that boil down to "take some other picture" and those may be fine pictures too. This one is interesting and potentially good (agreed that the background is too visually confusing -- I would shoot this against a white stucco wall or similar), but it's never going to be a pregnancy shot, I don't think.

Maybe a smaller wheelbarrow would help? Or paint the wheel non-white? Or both?

Lighter boots would help as well. Bare feet?
