Well the link was hosted on the domain teenplanet and it didn't like direct linking to the file so it just referred back to the main domain. Which isn't necessarily porn, but definately not work safe.

Still requires a copy and paste cause it's geocities.

As far as the photo goes, it is out of focus. When you photograph people, the eyes need to be in focus.

Regardless of being artistic, eyes still need to be in focus. There is nowhere for the viewer to focus their attention on in the photo.

why does it have to be so technical

and just so you know i blurred the whole picture in photoshop cos it looked too sharp before hand.

Well, you kind of got what you asked for- opinions and criticisms.

If you want an opinion of a particular nature you have to ask a specific question. Such as... Within the framework of this being an art shot, does the unfocused nature add or detract from the overall image? Can you tell that I was going for a melancholy mood?

Now, you might get the exact same answers you got this time, but it would be more focused. Unfortunately, nobody here (that I'm aware of) is psychic. Asked for opinions, you're going to get the gamut unless you focus the attention to your specific wants.

I don't mind the lack of sharpness. I can see how sharp focus on the eyes would change the mood. I do think it needs more contrast.

I actually don't mind this shot at all...I think there is a certain style to it.

Definitely not your "technically perfect" photograph, but sometimes it is nice to change things up a little. I'd like to see some others.
