I love Cosplay stuff. I'm actually pissed because I totally spaced and will miss out on PAX this year so I won't get to do my annual cosplay hunt.

I mean ...

1. I'm kinda into the whole gaming world and stuff, so it's kinda amusing. Ever play plants vs. zombies?

2. Some of the costumes are actually DAMNED impressive. Bioshock... the dude's hand drill even spun. The girl was downright creepy when she wasn't cracking up.

3. Frankly, the girls who do this tend to do this are seriously nerd-hawt.

4. When you get up the nerve to actually try to get people setup and posed properly in good lighting, you can get some REALLY REALLY cool shots sometimes. This is my favorite ever...

You shoulda' done it, IMO. It's really fun stuff and the people who do it are always SUPER appreciative of the photos.

Oh and if you go with a friend from TPF you can trade who has to ask people if you can take their picture.

I have a friend who is RIDICULOUSLY good at cosplay (granted she is Japanese and lives in Japan... but I know her IRL so that counts... )

I am often impressed by well-executed cosplay.

If that were Cosplay, and the model was willing to pay out, I would have done it.

But what was on that page was NOT. Cosplay.

It was horrifically executed nerd porn.
