I saw.....

Couple of things I saw recently...

I was jogging back and saw a woman, in what it appears to be sports attire and running shoes, sitting at a(her) door step smoking.

I was jogging the day before and saw a paramedic on cellphone while driving the ambulance, thought not on emergency.

Saw a dead fawn( small deer) on the way to work. That evening I went jogging again, saw 2 fawns in my neighbourhood. They were heading to the road, so I scared them away.

Saw 4 deers who didn't react to me while I was cycling by them....

This neighbour who lives across me, "walks" her beegle by leaving him at the door step leashed. Then the dog keeps barking and howling to get back into the house. Happens almost everyday. I feel like slapping her.

Today.... as usual, couple of fat ground hogs and rabbits munching among the bushes.

What did you see?

i saw three prostitutes get picked up on the street with a cop sitting 10 feet away from me.

i saw my laugh flash before me, and i hated what i saw.

I saw a cockroach in the urinal, so i gave him a shower. he stopped moving.

I saw my jeep make a huge clunk when it came off the flat bed when we were dropping it at the mechanic.

I also saw it bottom out when it came off the trailer - note to self. New shocks.

And then as we were driving to get grub, I saw a buddy of mine who was towing the flatbed, pulled over by a cop. I prolly should have told him the trailer lights werent working

Now Im going to see my pillow.

I woke up and the first thing I saw was the fog lifting off the lake with some swans stirring the water.

I saw a kid in all black, white face, piercings and a I Hate God tshirt offer to help an elderly lady carry her stuff to the car.

I saw a guy stop his bike to see if I needed help fixing the flat on my bike. He gave me a patch kit and pump and said "keep it".

I saw a mosquito bite me...so I smacked it

I saw my grill with 2 Tbones with my name on it.

I saw the fog misting the window of our bedroom--it's 6:30am and already 84* and about 100% humidity. :?

I saw my baby's room, now with all the furniture in it.

I saw the bathroom...bad chinese food yesterday.

Now I'm going to go see the battered old chairs at the oil change place--time for the pre-road-trip oil change! We leave for Chicago and Niagara Falls in 3 days! :thumbsup:

yeah, i know really.... it was just the way we came to work this morning... drove through a really shitty bit of the area... i just wish people would realise that they could make the world a much better place by just putting a bit of effort into what they're doing and where they're living...
the difference between the good and bad parts of the city ISN'T that ones got more money than the other... it's that one CARES MORE than the other.

the easiest way to see the good of this world is to hang out with someone like lumi. the brightness of her soul shines all around her, chasing the shrieking dark shadows away...
i mean, just look at her name

another way to do this is to hang out with children. i love to watch how they learn about the world around them- they think everything is interesting and cool to look at and explore. i like to try to see things their way, and more often than not it brings a smile and a slightly new understanding...

I saw my house from a different perspective last night. I was way out in the back yard with the O-dog right at dusk, right along the treeline, and for no particular reason, I sat down on a log and watched the fireflies come out. They were everywhere, dancing right in front of me, and moving silently across the yard. I watched the yellow squares of the lights inside my house get brighter as the evening came on, and looked at the bright spots of yellow that are my black-eyed Susans, and my tall tomato plants. I thought how cozy, warm and secure the place looked, like I was seeing it from a stranger's perspective. It was a wonderful feeling to sit and look at it in the dusk and know it was mine, my home, my garden, all from my own hard work. And yes, the freaky part of me was thinking, "Wish I had the tripod right now....."

More'n likely, yeah. It's just really a long-weekend sort of thing. Kel's got to be back for work on Thursday. :? Monday-drive, Tuesday-falls, Wed-drive sort of thing. I'd love to make it longer.

More'n likely, yeah. It's just really a long-weekend sort of thing. Kel's got to be back for work on Thursday. :? Monday-drive, Tuesday-falls, Wed-drive sort of thing. I'd love to make it longer.
