Delete that edit and make sure that she doesn't see it, or she might not be your GF any more. It's a cool shot and as those above said, just a little fill light in the face would make it killer. (Oh and taking off the cover up).

It's March Madness time dude--blame the bad edit call on "the refs!" Many people with sympathize with you. I too agree with Rotanimod...don;t always put the camera away...record those memories and fun times first...and then put the camera down...for a while....but pick it back up with a 24, or 35, or 50 on there, and record some more memories.
