My thoughts:

#1 - I love this image! Great composition. It is underexposed however and needs to be lightened up quite a bit.

#2 - Also underexposed... I don't like this one as much as the first. Looks awkward for the flamingo lol.

#3 - Great capture. I just don't like how you have other photographers in the background. You want to try and avoid those!

The first image is good, but it needs to be brighter as suggested. Also did you try cropping it down so that the blue/grey background at the top left is removed? I think that would make for a stronger image.

ETA Hope you don't mind, here is what I was thinking about:

I think #1 works in part because the flamingo is looking up at the camera - like you and she are sharing a little secret. In number two she has more of a vacant stare off into space that, when combined with the awkward pose, makes it look like this is a post-mortem picture.
