I would say go for the memory card reader...as BigMike said, you don't have to worry about snagging the cord and knocking your camera on the floor. Also you won't have to drain your battery or worry about plugging your camera in while transferring files.

I have never had an issue with taking the CF card out/putting it back in in the 4 years I've had my camera. It slides in and out very smoothly.

BTW for those commenting on flash readers... he has a D80. D80 runs CF. CF uses pins. Popping CF cards in and out is a scary scary thing. Pull one of those pins and you're in for an instant 'spensive repair.

All of my cameras take CF cards, and just like big mike I change cards several times a day. the pins are not nearly as fragile as you make them out to be.
