I use 2 16 GB on my 5d and only get about 400 some RAW but 900 some with sRAW. I haven't had any problem with my 16gb flash cards and I use Transcend cards.

I take tons of pictures on my phone. I have 12gb of photos from this phone alone. Still two 8's?

You do not use your camera as a storage device.

Here is my work flow for memory cards...

- Insert a card.
- Format the card.
- Go shoot.
- Off load the images onto my hard drive.
- Re-format the card.

I have 5 4gb cards, and one 8gb for longer trips. No need for anything bigger.
