I'll go with that. I'm not sure if a tighter crop would work on the insect or not; the grass stalks are such nice elements. Might be worth trying though.

I'm no expert on bees at all, but the head on that insect looks more like a type of hoverfly to me than a bee. Most bee species that I've seen have large and distinct madables and an overall different head shape.
It might just be a different species but if I were to see this I'd guess hoverfly instead of bee.
