I was thinking the same thing. Maybe use a timer and let the camera hang around your neck?

I will have to try that shot without arms sometime. Maybe with a wider lens & shot from a lower perspective. Stay tuned.

I like to get out in the morning light & when I was trying to compose a shot I noticed my shadow screwing up the background. Well, presented with lemons make lemonade.

I like how you didn't lose the detail in the shadow. Good capture.

Chief Inspector Clouseau comes to mind.....mostly from the hat I think.

All kidding aside, the longer I look at this photo, the better it seems to me. Solid composition. Big, bold shape. Good control over tonal values. Strong "gestalt".
