I was shocked!

Today I was walking through the parking lot of my local Sam's Club when I saw a camera sitting in the back window of a Lincoln town car. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a Canon 5D MII with a 70-200 f2.8L attached... WITH THE WINDOWS ROLLED DOWN...

Now I don't know about you guys but when someone even sneezes towards my equipment I shudder. The thought of leaving my camera somewhere like that gives me the willies. $4,000 worth of body and glass seems like a ridiculous thing to leave in such plain sight...

Anyone else have stories of places you've of someone you know has left their equipment that they probably shouldn't have?

I saw that also and was shocked so I took it...Now I have a canon 5d MII and a 70 200 2.8...want to buy it for cheap? :hug:: :sexywink:

Or just because someone has the money to buy high end gear doesn't mean they have the sence to take care of it or even care about it.

I have a bad habit of leaving my camera bad in the back of my car..But theres so much junk back there you can't tell what it is

For me, nothing like that feeling at a wedding when you know your gear was left by the door, but you had to follow the bride and groom to get a shot and now you're walking back to where you gear 'should' be waiting for you. So far, it always has been. Probably need to get better about securing it.
