Okay, its not the moooost exciting thing ever.. but I entered 3 photos (out of 5 total you could send in I just.. only sent 3 I dunno lol) to a contest our local city's parks and recreation was holding. The contest was called "selfie in the park" and was not really technically asking for selfies... just photos taken at the local parks featuring happy, smiling people was the idea.

These are the 3 I sent in and today I received an email saying 1 or more submitted were selected. The photos selected are going to be hung on display in the parks and recreation at city hall. I won a free family pass entry to our aquatic center for the rest of the summer. lol

Congratulations!!!! I was totally enthusiastic about the swing set shot, and wow--the second one of your son coming down that cool "dragon slide" is a wonderful park shot! Those two shots are REALLY great candid kid pics! The third one's good too, but the first two are just outstandingly warm and FUN! images....really first-rate stuff Bonnie! I can see why you won!

Thanks all! It's so cool to me that my son's face is probably going to be hanging in this random city hall in Arizona long after we've left the state. lol (military family)

I don't. The email just said 1 or more was chosen. I guess I'll know come September when they're up on the wall. lol I may try to ask when I go pick up my pool pass.
