Ice shots

These were taken through a hole in a big chunk of ice that had been washed ashore at the old colonial harbour in Nuuk.

I thought the hole would make a kinda funky frame for a photo.

A friend also shot me through the hole. I posted that in the self portrait thread under Themes

but id crop the sky out of the 2nd.

Most of you preferred the first one to the second.
It's funny 'cause my fav is the second one. Maybe I'm just a little strange, but the thing I like best about it is the sky on top, which is the thing you guys advise me to crop out. It shows the organic shape of the ice chunk. Also I think the first shot is a little obvious.
But that's just me. I'm really happy you like the ice frame idea :lmao:
