I've been messing around with intentional camera movement (ICM) trying to get "layers" in the image. This is a shot I took of the riverbank and vines backlit by the sunset. This one is begging to be printed big imho ;)

Yes, please show color version. As an abstract it's not bad.

Yep here is the colour version, I like it too but I think there are other colour versions that are stronger in the set like the other one I posted below.

Another possibility is to emphasize the verticality of the composition by cropping the left and right down to the main four verticals in the middle, changing the format to vertical in the process.

I would show you , but you have this big "knot" in the way.
 
Thanks for your thoughts Designer, I've pondered the vertical composition and even tried it when I was shooting but I think a lot of the "layering" or depth of the image is coming from the sides. I'm wondering your thought process on getting rid of those areas and enhancing the vertical? I may be missing something ;) and it will be good to carry thoughts forward if I shoot it again (which is highly likely lol)
