ideas for studio backdrops

I was wondering if anyone has some ideas for studio backdrops. Currently I have a roll of white and gray paper. What are some other backdrops that would work well in a studio setting for fashion and beauty shots? Things like fluted sheets of 4' x 8' metal.

I have seen some DIY muslin back drop tutorials online... That would make for a great, durable, easily transportable backdrop you could customize.

I'm a seamless + gels fan too. I make my own coo-koo's (cuculoris or cookie) too.
