If you are interested in privacy, don't use Advanced System Care.

They admit that they automatically erase privacy.

Something tells me (from the way that pop up is written) that the program was developed in a forigen country and probably isnt what they advertise it to be. Its most likely some form of fake anti virus that steaking your data and may have installed a trojan horse. Stick with a known reputable company like AVG, Avast, or Sophos.

This is why I clean my computer myself and not let some other program do it for me. There are a few tools I use and trust only because we use them at work (I'm an IT Manager, so I do it all the manual way lol).

It isn't a fake virus.
Advanced System Care is a utility that is recommended by CNET and that has worked well for years.
It is the wording that I was making fun of.

indeed the wording is funny. CNET is all marketing anyways, I don't trust anything from there most the time. Whenever I get a client who comes in with viruses etc.. it usually piggy backed on a program downloaded from CNET (not always but quit a bit) makes me think they don't actually test and look at all the programs going through their site. and every time you download something from there they try to force 1,000,000,000,000,000 "free" toolbars and other crapware you don't ever want, and that aggravates me cause most users (aka my customers) just keep hitting next next next yes install all of it and it just makes more work for me cleaning out that crap plus the virus...

Oh...I thought maybe this was gonna be a link to the Kate Middleton topless photos taken in France and recently published...you know, with the big flap about "privacy" and all that those topless pics have engendered over the past week or so.
