There is another forum that I go on and 1 poster has a sarcastic insert a roll of the eyes for just about every poster when they don't think like him and its a friendly forum. After a while just about every poster jumped all over him for being sarcastic and he was ignored and stopped posting altogether.

I was thinking it might be more fun to give them full moderator powers but keep their names green...then they could shock people in other forums when they zapped 'em unexpectedly. (And when I say, "fun", I mean, fun for me, of course.) :twisted:

But in the end, Mish looks so pretty in purple I couldn't deny her. :heart:

So, do moderators come in strengths? as in "Full" meaning 100%? or 50% as in vodka? or as in "Full of...", which we don't need to say. In which case being less than "full" is probably a good thing. This aspect of "full" also opens up possibilities of running "regularity" ads. Or it could be associated with "Full On" which according to context, could be a very good thing, (or not), except that I suspect Mish would tip the popularity scales (at least with some members) if it was "Full Off". My, one can have all kinds of fun with "Full". Oh, and now I think I'm about to get the "Full" treatment. It was nice knowing you all... at least in the internet persona kind of way. Remember, "Full Bore" is just an expression. Right?

So... I am trying out this ignore button that the mods keep telling me about :greenpbl:. I really dont find it very useful. If I ignore someone, it will still show me the new threads that person started? I prefer not seeing it at all on my new posts feed? I really dont see why this is helping.

It doesn't.

It mearely taunts you by telling you when that person posts by going, "NAH NAH!!! SO AND SO POSTED BUT YOUUUUU CAAAAAN'T SEEEEEE IIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

It's a sh*tty system.

I used to have certain people on ignore, but the ignore function irritated me more than the people I had on ignore, so I got rid of it and instead choose to fight it out. :lmao: :hug::

Yup, I use the forum for entertainment too.

Now that person that was skeptical of Mr. & Mrs. Pixmed 3rd shooter offer...*(^&*%^&*%&*%^ I would have clicked ever button on the keyboard trying to iggy him/her.
Other than that, iggy Mary J Blige and her 'No More Drama', I need my fix!

this forum is a mix of different peoples with different experiences and different opinions. neither myself nor the missus wishes any ill feelings towards anyone just because they have a different view than we do on something. I would like to think that the TPF community possesses the ability to express a difference of opinion on things and still remain friendly and civil.
