I'm a freak!!!

I shot about over a thousand pictures in two days. Someone told me I shoot a lot of pictures.

Nah, you're just working up to it. I shot 2,000 in one afternoon a couple of years ago.

I shot almost four rolls in one day a couple of weekends ago, something like 90 or so frames. That was a lot for me.

I think the most I ever shot in one day would be in the 400 range, but if there is something to shoot , I would place no limit.

I usually shoot about 700 frames over a full day of shooting if I am in a "target-rich environment".

Wow! No wonder I'm so slow at improving............ I usually snap maybe 50-75 any given day!

omg! that's really a lot from my point of view...

I think that I shot maybe 350 in 4 days and that was big for me lol

it would be different if I shoot for money, probably... but I simply don't press shutter that often

First day out with my new Lumix FZ200 I shot 70 pictures in about 2 hours. It was in my neighbor's yard after a BBQ and I took a variety of people, pet and plant shots. I got only a couple I liked, but not enough to share.

Second day out I kinda rushed it. I was down that I skipped a day and was leaning toward skipping that day too. Then just before the sun fell behind the mountain, I got set up and concentrated only on a fallen log. I shot the same picture about ten times at different settings. Just before I left, I turned the camera around and shot a couple of the building across the street toward the sun, but it had already dropped behind the mountain by then. Took my time, used a tripod, instead of hand-held like the neighbor's session. I tried to be methodical about all the different settings. Not a single picture worth keeping.

Lots of bells & whistles on this camera, compared to most I have ever owned. Except for the waiting until the last minute part yesterday, my method was more focused. I prob'ly need to do that more often. I wanted to go out today, but now we have some smoke settling here in the valley, which isn't good for me (emphysema).

Maybe tomorrow.

Meh not bad

If its a really good day I can shoot 2k in a day easy.
A good day would consist of:
Great dewy morning.
A long drive.
Good light for birds and some available to shoot.
Great vegetation (take that one whatever way you would like ).
Random finds along the way.

Couple hours out and I usually do a few hundred and then weed out the duplicates and the crappy ones. You think your freaky, just wait until you have dreams about getting the most awesome shot after pulling the camera out from under the pillow and just to wake and realize it didn't happen.:banghead: I had a dream I was shooting a Snowy Owl in flight in my bedroom but woke up to a celling fan doing 360s.:blushing:

I can relate. For many years, I was a flooring installer. I would dream about doing the next day's job and all its difficulties struggling through to completion, only to wake up and realize I have to go do that job all over again for reals.

When I attend an airshow, like the first weekend of May I have two cameras, one with 32gb which I nearly shot to the full and another 8GB which I have shot to the fullest and about 400 shots more from the other 8 GB I have on my point and shoot. All of them are raw shots and I am still processing them up to now...I will see what I can do with my new D800E in next week's trip to the USAF facility and our fly-in at the Wright Bros. airport/museum...I will probably be forever doing my PP on the shots I am going to do...

My first soccer game I ever shot, one hour long, with a 10 minute half time, I shot over 1,000 shots.

that's 20 shots a minute for 50 minutes.
They did score alot though from what I recall.
