I finally got my first roll of film back from my Mamiya 645 pro (Ilford Delta 100). I am in love!! I have been using 35mm for a while and wanted something more...about a year ago I tried doing 4x5 but it was too much, too soon. Nothing came out properly in focus, and the camera was a pain in the butt to lug around. I love this camera because it's just like a 35mm SLR (just a little bit bigger), but the difference in resolution and dynamic range is huge! And the beautiful bokeh thanks to the larger focal plane.

(This image has been gently retouched in Photoshop and is reduced resolution for uploading.)

Yup, medium-format is a revelation :) I've got a Mamiya 645 too and it's a gem.

It surely does NOT have that m4/3 background-in-focus-from 15-feet-to-Infinity look!!!
