I'm New! Looking for some C&C :)

Hello! (New to the forum~)
I started photography about a year ago and recently decided to specialize in Newborn Portraiture!
I did some work with an in-hospital newborn photography company but didn't get much experience.
These are some photos from my first newborn session on my own! Please let me know what you think and what I could work on/change!
I would love some tips on post-processing and posing too! Thank you!

5,6,7--baby's head being cut off by the edge of the frame, or "slamming into" the edge of the frame...that looks bad. That would be the main thing to improve upon.

Hey welcome to the forum. I'm no pro but heres my two cents
1- Looks good, just get rid of the rope/branch looking thing on the right
2-4- nice pose but they look kinda blah. I think there is too much of the same color throughout. Some contrast would have looked nice.
5 and 6 I really like. Tha black background looks good in 6. Just try not to cut off the head/hair piece! lol
7- Lighting looks good, nice overall picture but newborns have ugly heads lol sorry but they do! I would suggest covering it like in the other pics.

Thanks guys! Yah I guess I really need to work on my composition lol I agree about having too much of the same color in those as well thanks I didn't really notice what it was that was bothering me until you pointed it out se7en
As for the "rope/branch" lol she is in a basket but you can't really tell in that one haha

your framing could be centered a bit better on the shots with the head dress. Seems bad to cut off such a detail.
