I'm filthy rich!

I am filthy, stinkin' rich, I tells ya!

Pulled the trigger on a new metal detector last month. Decided to try it out today despite there still being a couple inches of frost in the ground.

I gotta say.... I am impressed!

When it said there was trash, it WAS trash (a brass grommet, a piece of aluminum siding etc). But it sure was dead-on when it said there was a coin!

Now I only owe $359.98 for it! :1219:

I'm sorry that's actually only about 1.75 cents there.

LOL- NOW we're getting somewhere! :D

Pftt. I find more in the couch or in one of my old jackets, without the use of special tools.

That said, it might be worthwhile to borrow that device. I have heard rumours that our cottage is next to an area that was a smuggling route. How good is the device for finding barrels (bottles?) of 100-year old moonshine?

No device needed. Just start digging where the outhouse used to be.

You're welcome.

Hang on to it. I hear old Lincoln pennies could double in value.

My favorite penny I ever found.
