I am shooting 2 women tomorrow boudoir. Never done it before but they know that. I dont have a lot of confident because it will be at someone's little apartment. I am not worried how to women will look, more worried about the location. May the light be with me. Any advice? Im bringing reflectors, reflector holder, 2 strobes, 1 umbrella. Hoping to utilize the natural light as much as possible.

On the top of that I have to shoot an e-session right before it.

You'll be fine and do awesome my young padawan. Just be confident and do your thing.

How are you "screwed"? Screwed would be you are shooting someone's wedding in 1 hour and both of your DSLR's were carried away in a massive flash flood.

Sound like your as prepared as you can be...

Let me know if you need a hand!! :)

Looking forward to seeing the results :)

This may sound like I'm being a little to careful, but consider bringing someone with you as a witness so you can't be accused of 'sexual harrasment'. Seriously, it is something to consider.

Yea.. ME! Second shooter! Or I can bring 3 monos, 5 speedlights, a variety of umbrellas and brollys from 33" to 64", 7 lightstands, a good sized boom, 4 reflectors of various shapes and sizes... and I will even obey orders if needed! lol!

If i jump on a plane now would i be there in time ? only 40 mins from East Midland Airport

Gary.. come on over! We can tie Schwetty up, and leave him in the car.. and do the shoot for him! :) Make him look GOOD too! LMAO!

It will be interesting to see what you come up with. Have you done this genre before? Are you comfortable with it? Do the ladies have any idea what types of images or poses they want. Who is in charge of wardrobe?

Boudoir done by talented ladies tend to be more subtle and gentle. I think because a woman can better get in tune on how another woman would like to be portrayed. The shoots done by guys tend to have a more 'in your face' look to them and have a harder appearance (no pun intended).

Have you got any gels to modify the light from your strobes with? Remeber, it's about them, not the surroundings. Fill the frame with your subject, light it well and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Edit- Ohhh, and take some power bars and condoms. You might need the energy. :-P

I second this. You just never know and it's better safe than sorry.
