I'm Seeing Double (exposure)

I got this sort of idea from the photo of the month contest going on right now and figured I would try my hand at it. I know the background is blown out but it does not bother me for some reason. Is it okay or does it bother you? Also I see some lens flare and I was wondering if you guys found it distracting or if it added to the image somehow... I was happy with it but I am a bit biased.

Any helpful C&C is welcome of course. Thank you very much in advance.

Is there anyway to fix this without severely underexposing the foreground? Next time I will just find a better place to shoot I suppose.

Not much you can do with that image. Most if it's 100% pure white, so there's no data that can be recovered from that area.

If you're good with post editing, you can insert another image into the window area. But it would still have to be a light image in order to make the highlights look right.
