I'm the King of Games

Thank you for the feedback!

Here's why I think the photo is pretty good. Good and logical background. Good haircut. Good personal hygiene, but lose the undershirt man! It's no longer 1980! Pose fills the space, and the subject's eye direction emphasizes the card in hand...and the card in hand circles right back to the logical background--a background which FILLS the entire frame. This is a solid, well-conceived image. Everything in the frame supports everything else. The only bad thing is the white undershirt, showing in the image. Would you like it if the waistband of your undershorts showed above your belt? Maybe you hold deeply traditional beliefs, but a visible white cotton tee's collar seen underneath a shirt has a very, very retro "vibe" today...it is almost as affected as buttoning the top button on a seven-button shirt, which makes a man look like either Forest Gump, or a California prison inmate gang member. ;-)

First, thanks for the feedback. And I cut my hair myself!

The background was added in post, btw.

Second, interesting... I've never put much thought into the undershirt thing. It's just automatic. Perhaps it's a conservative tradition, but it's what I've always been taught. Thanks for the thoughts though - will have to think about that next time.

Dude--maybe consider barber school! YOU did that haircut? Wow!

That's what I've been telling my friend but he won't believe me!

Man, you have no idea how difficult it is cutting the back of your own head. Haha, I appreciate the support xD
