C&C as you see fit, these were the cream of the crop from my recent trip to Astoria. My only wish is that I had a wide angle lens for some of the open scenes. Oh well, in due time I suppose, for now I deal with my Sony P+S.

Six might be too many but I didn't want to make another post...

You have some great composition. A better camera would definately suite you nicely.

I like #3 and #6 in particular. The colors and angles are good.

They are pretty good except for the last one which I would delete. I like #5 it's innovative thinking, I love the reflections

I like #1, but it's completely sentimental to me. I lived in Astoria when I was very young. We moved after I turned 5, but one of the things I remember is going to the beach with the shipwreck on it. Thank you for posting that, brought back some nice memories.

Ah thanks for linking that! How cool they have a picture of the ship as it once was on there! Also, thanks for the positive comments so far, it helps keep me motivated.

Wow! really good pictures, very "creative"...?
I personally like 1, 3 and 4... That wrecked ship there is like almost mythical..
and sunsets are like... wow!

And by the way, don't delete #6, its a cool picture... I don't see any reason why you should delete it..
