Ok. I need to work on posing and positioning... What could I have done to improve this photo?

Plus side.

Well framed and exposed.
Nicely sharp
nice pose
great look on her face.
(plus it doesn't hurt that she is beautiful)

on the things that could be altered side, I think:

Doorjamb brightness pulls the eye
Her face is too bright
her arms are lighter than face
Image a bit cold

IMO, much nicer to look at.
The door frame perhaps might be a bit intrusive.
