In The Honeysuckle

@BrentC inspired me to get some shots of our most populous feathered friends ~ the house finch. They really like hanging out in this dead honeysuckle as it gives them cover from the occasional Cooper's hawk. Lighting is very overcast today, so please forgive me that

Very nice. I like the warm tones in the fist one. I took a lot of shots of them when I first started, because they were everywhere. Then I just ignored them for the most. "Oh, its just another sparrow" is my usual thought. But enjoyed shooting them again yesterday. And they are one of the easiest small birds to photograph.

You are right Brent. They can usually be found here year round. I know some might say " Oh no, another sparrow pic ", but we have to photograph something, right?
