Indoor - Need Suggestion

Hey guys, tonight I will going to a party in one of my friends house and I will be taking my D60.

Now, assuming there is plenty of lights, what is one of the best possible setting for my pictures to come out great? Im not that good when it comes to night pictures.

What lens are you using?

I'd start by setting the ISO high, maybe even to 1600.
