info on Voigtlander lens

I am interested in any feedback from your use of Voigtlander 40mm f1.4 (M mount.) Sharp (?), soft (?), user friendly (?) or not (?). Please let me know before I spend $ on one. thanks for any input....

I could be wrong, but I'm not sure you are going to get too many replies to this. Perhaps you should try RFF, the dedicated RF forum site, where CV equipment is always a popular subject.

Most of the rangefinder users around there use classic camera and lenses, but I do have a new Voigtlander 25mm f4 39mm mount, the glass seem sharp but i have only that it two weeks, but barrel is a very light tin-ist metal/material, it could be a plastic with a metal coating

To summarise, sharp as a tack, but the bokeh is more than some people like.
