I can't decide if I like this or not... I think I do, it's kinda of dark and mysterious. Should I scrap it?

It's not bad, but it looks like there is a vein bursting out of her right arm?

Thanks :) Yeah, she's REALLY fit so she had a lot of veins that were visible, I'll get rid of that thanks for pointing it out!

I like it, it has a dominatrix feel to it. Kinda sexy yet kinda dark and gothic too.

Thats not IR. Why do you call that an IR photo?

IR = Infrared. It is a wavelength of light humans cannot see directly. But, humans can see the results of a photograph made that captures IR light. Infrared - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An IR filter can be put on a lens, but then the viewfinder is just black. So a tripod is used, the scene is framed/composed. The exposure is set based on prior knowldge. The filter is then put on the lens. The focus distance using IR light is different so you will need to rely on AF to re-focus, and a series of bracketed exposures made.

Or, you can get the camera modified to do IR exclusively. LifePixel Digital Infrared Photography IR Conversion, Modification & Scratched Sensor Repair

Yeah I just compared regular b&w to what I used and it's not that big of a difference, it's just darker. My bad!

I feel like a Noob :(

Anyone without scientific training or interests is not likely to be familiar with the electromagnetic spectrum, of which humans can only see a small slice. We call that small slice 'visible light', and visible light has a wavelength of 380 nm or so (blue) to 740 nm or so (red). (nm = nanometers)

I like the contrast the IR filter did to the image.
I think the shadow area on the left side of her face should be darker (move light or turned head ??)

like the pin up look, I think it would be better if her chin was was up a it, in the shadows on the left of her mouth I can't tell if there is a smile line or what.
