Ink Jet Printer Problem

I use a Canon MP190 to print quick photos every now and then. Most of the time it does a fair job on color. Recently installed new cartridges (ebay specials), the first few photos printed decent, but as I printed more, the color started going funky. Blacks have a reddish tint. Bad cartridge????

No. I'd say a clogged head if you use it so infrequently. You can clean it with 99% ipa (isopropyl alcohol).
Trickle a small amount through with an eyedropper then run a cleaning operation for that nozel.

At least it wasn't much. I've used two sets so far without problems. Guess it was time. Just got tired of the high priced Canon, drying up from lack of use.

Are you saying the head on the cartridge?? It's brand new just replaced. Could it still be clogged? Since the black is not as black as it should be, would that be the black cartridge or the color?

Not quite. Ended up being the color cartridge bad. Emailed the guy, and he mailed another out today.

I don't use that many, plus I was curious how well these would work. $8 for both cartridges, including shipping. I wouldn't fool with it for that. I had a refill kit a few years ago.
