Hello folks
I have just listened to Marrutt you tube videos about printing.
They say monitors more than three years old should be replaced with new and printers should be pigment ink printers if top quality prints are one made. I have a Viewsonic monitor more than three years old and use a Canon 9000pro dye ink printer. Am I doomed to make inferior prints until I spend money on new equipment or is the you tube video just marketing hype ? I thought new dye ink prints exhibited behind glass indoors out of direct sunlight had an expected life before noticeable fading of more than 25 years (I print on Permajet fine art matt and semi gloss papers).
Any thoughts please about whether the Marrutt video offers good advice please.
Cheers
Jeff
