installing Lightroom on a new computer - help

So I bought Lightroom 4 sometime ago and then upgraded TO Lightroom 6 just as it went to CC and very happy not paying for a subscription.

I just bought a new laptop and am trying to install LR on that. I have the licence/serial number for LR6 (upgrade) but it is asking for the original LR4 serial number which I don't think I have anymore or at least haven't found as yet.

Is there a way to find the original licence key in LR or does anyone have any suggestions on how do I get LR6 installed on my new computer?

For what it's worth you may have to go to Adobe and ask them for help they help me on a different issue with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Resolved the problem!
Just in case someone has a similar problem; via the internet I found that there is a file containing the previous licence key and it's called 'Lightroom 4.0 Registration.lrreg' and I found it in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Lightroom.
