I've developed some software to aid in the creation of videos from DSLR images. It's especially useful for time-lapse images taken over a long period of time, such as weeks, months, or years.
I'm looking for a few (2-3) beta-testers.
If interested, please contact me at [email protected].
Basically, the Interval-O-Meter (IOM) software provides the following:
IOM is strictly post-shooting, working with the large batch of images you've obtained for a particular project.
Using the features of IOM, you can perform "What if" scenarios, for example trying different "interval sampling" values to use images captured every n minutes (such as every minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, etc). IOM will display a simulated video showing the results at the various settings.
IOM allows for an unlimited number of "Projects" to be defined, each with its own settings.
Image selection criteria includes:
1. Images within a specified time range. For example, only include images taken between 9am and 3pm.
2. Time interval sample rate, every n hours, minutes, seconds.
3. Only include images recorded on specific days of the week (Monday to Friday for example).
4. Exclude images recorded on non-workdays.
5. Exclude images whose average "Grey level" fall outside a specific range, in other words, too bright or too dark.
6. Stamp the date into all images that pass selection.
