Took this shot of myself walking through a little snow storm tonight:

Taken with a Nikon D700, 50 f/1.4 @ F4, 2 second, ISO800. Processed in CS6

C&C Appreciated!

I like it. Nice conversion, nice composition, and nice texture. Well done.

Best,
Jake

Another, darker one from the same shoot:

I think that I like this one a lot better than the first. For being so similar in subject they have radically different feels to them. I fell as though this one gives a more ominous and emotional feeling. This one he seems totally alone, just trudging through the miserable snowy night towards a far-off destination with no hope that it will get better. That being said, the light is still enticing him forward, a beckoning that there are brighter things to come. The other one gives me more of a feeling like he is powering through the snow, towards a brighter future. Both have their own connotations, but I think this one is more powerful.

I'd love to here other opinions!

Ooooooh. I really like this one too. But in this, it seems to become more about the snow rather than the figure. A little more light would have been perfect, but really, I think this one is the winner.

Best,
Jake

I went ahead and bumped the brightness up a little and dropped a little contrast:
