Don't wait on decision making, for $700 buy the d7000--it's a no brainer, you could always sell it for a profit. If you wait to long the police may catch up to the guy selling it to you and you'll be out of luck.

ps it was a 60 year old selling the camera.. he switched to canon..

pretty sure i've decided to keep d7k, as i received an offer on my d90 with mbd80

Assuming no catch with the d7000 for such a low price, keep it and sell the d90.
