iPhone not syncing.

I asked Google... I asked my Facebook wall lurkers... I asked an iPhone FORUM...

...ain't got no answer that WORKS... so I'm trying here as a last ditch effort...

My iPhone WILL NOT sync to my iCal on my mac. It's making me crazy.

Anyone have this problem? How'd you fix it?

Before, I thought it just wasn't syncing things that I put on my iPhone calendar to my iCal on the mac... but now I don't think it's syncing EITHER direction.

Totally inconvenient.

Help?

I have zero experience with Ical syncing as I'm a PC guy. I sync my iphone calendar with my gmail account's calendar, and it does so automatically, and wirelessly.

My suggestion to you, to make life easier, is to see if you can get Ical to sync with Google calendars, and then just set it up so your phone syncs to the google calendar.

I know it's a pain in the arsch, but it would get you wireless syncing of your calendar (just assuming you have to plug into itunes to sync to Ical, correct me if I'm wrong on this).

Like I said, I don't use Ical, so this is all the advice I can give you other than, look into the sync settings for your iphone (located in itunes, when your phone is plugged in)

I kinda hate using google calendar... which is why I don't do that, haha. I *do* have to plug in my iPhone to sync my calendar, but I have to plug in my iPhone for other reasons anyway, and considering I'm sitting at my desk for most of the day it doesn't bother me to have to do that.

About a month ... month and a half?... ago. Haha, why? Did I mention something about wanting one before? Or are you just assuming?

It WAS working before... and it just... stopped syncing the calendars. I don't get it.

FYI I am totally MACed up iPhone iPad iMac & MacBook. I skipped iPhone 4 am going with 5. My daughter bit the apple on 4 and always has issues. Do you have a 4

Yeah, I'm on Verizon, so it was my only option. It's the ONLY issue I'm having. Other than that, it works flawlessly.
