iPhone question

Does anyone know if there is a way to save my current greeting to a separate file, like an mp3 or wav or so?

I got someone to make me a customized greeting and would like to save it, but don't know how I would do that through itunes or something. Thanks.

Your voice mail greeting? Isn't that something to do with your phone company / provider and not the phone itself?

Yup it gets saved to the phone company server.

With the iPhone you can however run a headphone to headphone cable from the phone and connect it to another device used to record and then play the VM greeting or message.

Nope not on the phone. It has to be on the phone company's server otherwise when people called you they could not leave a message if you didnt have service.
